Easy way to wash greens (saag saf karne ka asan tarika)
– Soil remains stuck to the greens, in such a situation washing them with water only once or twice will not help. If you buy any greens, pluck its leaves first. Some greens are tied in a bundle. Cut the stalks attached to the leaves first, because they contain more soil. Even if you hit the leaves on the floor with your hands, sometimes the stuck insects come out. Now fill a big vessel with water, add greens little by little and wash them. First add half the quantity of greens and wash them 3-4 times in the vessel. This will remove dust and dirt thoroughly.
– If you want to remove insects and pupae stuck on the leaves of greens, then add one tablespoon of baking soda in water. Now add greens to it and leave it for 15 minutes. Now wash with plain water two to three times. The insects will come out easily. If you want, you can also put the greens in vinegar water.
If you want to clean greens easily then use a net bag. Cut the greens and put them in a net bag. Fill a big pan or bucket with water and dip the net bag in it again and again. This will remove all the dust, dirt and insects present in the greens.
