Jairam Ramesh Targets PM Modi: Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well as the state government led by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma over the FIR lodged against Congress leaders in Assam. Addressing the media, he said that we are not afraid of anyone.
Congress General Secretary said, “Assam CM has filed an FIR against Rahul Gandhi, KC Venugopal, Jitendra Singh, Gaurav Gogoi, Bhupen Bora, Debabrata Saikia, me and other Congress leaders. This is a political FIR and has no connection with reality. No relation.”
‘We are not afraid’
The Congress leader said, “Evidence and videos are with everyone. We are not afraid. This is another threat from the Assam CM. We will face every legal process without any fear. Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra will continue.”
‘Murder of Democracy’
During this, he also targeted PM Modi and said, “We are still assuming that we are living in a democracy. Prime Minister Narendra Modi They go around the world and say that India is the Mother of Democracy, but it is not the Mother of Democracy, it is the Murder of Democracy.”

Congress workers broke barricades
