When the Local 18 team spoke to Mohammad Abrar, who runs the Burhanpur Jalebi Centre, he told that this is a 39-year-old shop in Burhanpur district. Along with Jalebi, Gulab Jamun is also prepared here, which is made from home-made mawa. People like to eat Gulab Jamun the most during cold days. The weight of one Gulab Jamun is about 70 grams. He told that in his shop Gulab Jamun is sold at the price of Rs 360 per kg.

Mo. Abrar told that along with the people of the city, the tourists who come to visit Burhanpur from outside also come to his shop to eat sweets. Here, when people come to know about the famous sweet of this shop, Gulab Jamun, they enjoy it and move ahead. There is a crowd of people at the shop from 10 am to 11 pm. He told that Gulab Jamuns are made daily at the shop. Along with food, people also take parcels to their family members. These Gulab Jamuns do not spoil for about 1 week.
