Jalebi made from khoya and chhena is very special
Sunil told that to make this Jalebi, khoya and chhena are mixed. Making this Jalebi is also very easy. If you want, you can make this jalebi at home also. For this, first of all heat the milk in a pan or vessel and take out chenna from it. Similarly, khoya can also be extracted by boiling milk. After preparing chhena and khoya, light flour, soda, cardamom and nutmeg are added to it and mixed. After this it is first fried in hot oil. In this way jalebi with khoya and chhena is prepared. According to the local people, there is no comparison to the jalebi made by Sunil Kumar. The demand for their Jalebi is far and wide.
250 pieces of Jalebi are finished in three hours
Sunil Kumar told that jalebi prepared from khoya and chhena is not made in large quantities. Jalebi is prepared as per the demand of the customers. 200 to 250 pieces of Jalebi are finished in just two to three hours. Every day from 6 pm to 9 pm, a stall is set up at the Municipal Chowk and people are fed Chhena sweets along with Jalebi. This shop is 50 years old and was earlier run by my father and now he is managing it himself. One piece of Jalebi is served to customers for Rs 10 while it is sold at Rs 300 per kg. Sunil told that the reason behind keeping the rates low is that the Jalebi here is very famous and people from all walks of life come to eat it. Apart from eating, people also get it packed and taken away. Therefore, taking care of everyone, despite earning less profit, they give to the people. At the same time, more than Rs 3 thousand are sold every day.
