Jammu Kashmir Kathua Terrorist Attack 5 Indian Army Soldiers Killed Know how they reached Jammu

Jammu Kashmir Terrorist Attack: There has been another major terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir, in which five soldiers have been martyred. Five soldiers are seriously injured. And the government has said in its old statement that the martyrdom of the soldiers will be avenged. But the bigger question is that what has happened in Jammu, which used to be always peaceful in comparison to the Kashmir valley, that every small and big terrorist incident is happening there.

After all, what has changed in the geographical situation of Jammu and Kashmir in the last few years that the target of terrorist organizations is now not the valley but Jammu, where terrorist incidents and martyrdom of soldiers are increasing.

Seventh attack in Jammu region within a month

The terrorist attack that happened on 8th July happened in Kathua. And Kathua falls in Jammu region. This is the seventh terrorist attack in the last one month, which has happened in Jammu region. A total of 11 attacks have happened in the last 2 months. In the year 2023, a total of 43 terrorist attacks have happened in this Jammu region. In such a situation, it is important to understand the Jammu region so that we can understand what has happened. So there are a total of 10 districts in the Jammu region of Jammu and Kashmir. These include Kathua, Jammu, Samba, Udhampur, Reasi, Rajouri, Poonch, Doda, Ramban and Kishtwar. Among these, Kathua, Udhampur, Reasi, Rajouri, Poonch and Doda become the easiest targets for terrorists. And the reason for this is the structure of the area.

Is it easy for terrorists to reach Jammu region?

In fact, a part of POK is connected to Pir Panjal. Spread over an area of more than 4000 square kilometers, POK makes it easy to infiltrate into these areas of Jammu because whatever hilly areas of Pir Panjal are there, be it Poonch, Rajouri or Reasi or Kathua, these areas are covered with dense forests. It is extremely difficult to reach here. The forest in the 12 kilometers stretch between Dera Ki Gali in Rajouri and Buffliaz is so dense that army vehicles cannot enter it.

Apart from this, the natural caves in the mountains are such that even light does not reach there and terrorists can easily hide in them. The remaining work is done by the local people, who become informers of these terrorists for some money and keep informing them about every activity of the army. As a result, even without coming out, the terrorists have strong intelligence, which is related to every movement of the army. And whenever the army enters these forests, the terrorists themselves go up and attack the army coming from below, due to which the army has to suffer heavy losses.

Why is the Indian Army not able to catch the terrorists?

The rest of the work is done by Pakistan’s terrorist organizations. After the ban on Jaish-e-Mohammed, Jaish, at the instigation of Pakistan, has formed new terrorist organizations like PAFF, TRF and Kashmir Tigers, whose terrorists are experts in guerrilla techniques. These terrorists attack by hiding and then run away and mingle with the common people. Because of this, it becomes very difficult to catch them. If there is an encounter with the army at the time of a terrorist attack, then the terrorists are killed. But once they run away, then it becomes very difficult to catch them.

Apart from this, there is another big reason. And that is the deployment of the army. Actually, when India’s tension with China increased in Ladakh, to deal with China, the soldiers of the National Rifles deployed in Pir Panjal were removed from Pir Panjal and deployed in Ladakh. At the same time, the responsibility of the security of Pir Panjal came to Delta and Romeo Force. Now the world’s eyes are on Kashmir, so terrorists cannot infiltrate there. Therefore, when there was a little weakness in Pir Panjal, the terrorists took advantage of it and succeeded in infiltrating. And because of this, more than 100 soldiers have been martyred in these terrorist attacks in the last three years.

Jammu and Kashmir elections are also the target of terrorists

Assembly elections are also to be held in Jammu and Kashmir. And as soon as the elections are held, the belief of the remaining supporters of the terrorists in democracy will also be strengthened. Therefore, terrorists never want elections to be held. And they are continuously carrying out terrorist attacks sometimes in the valley and sometimes in Jammu. Therefore, now is the time to repeat our history. 21 years old history when the army launched Operation Sarp Vinash in April-May 2003, which was carried out in Hilkaka-Poonch-Surankote of Pir Panjal and then all the terrorists there were killed together.

The army has a plan ready for the local people who are helping these terrorists. And now the army wants to implement the Enemy Agents Act, a law made by the Dogra king in 1917, in the entire Jammu and Kashmir, so that the property of those helping the terrorists can be confiscated and they can be given punishment ranging from life imprisonment to death.
