Taking action in this regard, security forces on Monday (November 18) claimed that they have arrested a terrorist involved in the attack on a non-local laborer in Tral area of ​​Pulwama district of South Kashmir. Some arms and ammunition have been recovered from the arrested terrorist.

Jammu and Kashmir Police officials said that security forces had received information about the presence of a terrorist, based on which a search operation was conducted in the gardens of Pinglish village. During the search operation, a terrorist associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba was arrested and a pistol and ammunition were recovered from him. He has been identified as Irshad Ahmed Chopan of Lurgam, Tral. According to the police, Chopan was involved in several cases including an attack on a non-local laborer in Tral last month. The officer said that further investigation has been started.

Non-local laborers targeted in Jammu and Kashmir
Last month, terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir carried out three attacks targeting laborers in October, including an attack on a construction site in Ganderbal district on October 18, which killed six non-local laborers and a local doctor. Death had occurred. Before that, on October 18, terrorists had killed a laborer named Ashok Kumar Chavan. The deceased was a resident of Bihar. Police had given information on the matter that terrorists had fired a total of 4 bullets on Ashok’s body.
