New Delhi. Jammu Mail will now run till Subedarganj. The average speed of this train has also been increased and it has been brought into the category of Superfast instead of Mail. Therefore, traveling by this train will become a little expensive. The Railway Board has decided to run Jammu Mail from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra to Subedarganj. This train earlier used to run between Old Delhi Junction-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra. The primary maintenance of this train will now be done in Subedarganj instead of Delhi.
Train number 14033/14034 Jammu Mail will run from Subedarganj to Katra from September 5 and from Katra this train will run from September 4. On the extended route, this train will stop at Chhapiana, Buzurg, Aligarh, Tundla, Govindpuri, Fatehpur stations. This train will cover a distance of 1279.05 km instead of 653.39 km. It will run at a speed of 60.19 km per hour instead of 49.62 km per hour. Apart from this, it has been decided to run another new train number 20434 from Katra to Subedarganj from January 4 next year.
