But when he was being brought from Mumbai to Uttar Pradesh by train, the accused Jamiruddin escaped by jumping from the train at Khandwa station in Madhya Pradesh.

The absconding accused was caught from Mumbai

Here, according to ASI Annilal of Khandwa GRP Police, a journalist was murdered in UP on May 13, in which five accused were involved. One of them was Jamiruddin Qureshi. Who had fled to Mumbai after the incident. District Jaunpur informed Mumbai Police and Crime Branch Thane had caught the accused Jamiruddin Qureshi, after which UP Police Sub Inspector Mansaram and constable Brajendra went to pick him up and on 15th, took the accused back to Uttar Pradesh by train on transit remand.
