Jaya Prada Case: Rampur’s MP/MLA court has ordered the police to arrest actress-turned-politician Jaya Prada and present her in the court on February 27. Senior Prosecution Officer Amarnath Tiwari said that even after the non-bailable warrant was issued against Jaya Prada for the seventh time, she did not reach the court for hearing on Monday.
The court has ordered the Police Commissioner to form a special team to arrest Jaya Prada and present her in the court. Let us tell you that the actress is said to be ‘absconding’ in two cases related to violation of code of conduct.
What is the matter?
Actually, Jayaprada contested from Rampur on BJP ticket in the year 2019. Lok Sabha Elections Had fought. During the elections, two separate cases were registered against the actress accusing her of violating the election code of conduct. These cases are going on in the MP and MLA court of Rampur. But Jaya Prada was not appearing in the court for hearing on the scheduled dates, due to which non-bailable warrants were issued one after the other against her. However, despite this Jayaprada did not reach the court.
Orders to arrest Jayaprada and bring her to court
Even before this, the court had written a letter to the Police Commissioner asking him to arrest Jayaprada and produce him. But Rampur police team could not present Jayaprada in the court and once again the court has issued a non-bailable warrant against Jayaprada. Now Rampur police is searching for Jayaprada.
Jaya Prada did not reach court even before
Senior Prosecution Officer Amarnath Tiwari said that a case was registered against Jayaprada Nahata in MP, MLA Special Court (Magistrate Trial) in 2019 for violation of election code of conduct, one in Camri police station and the other in Swar police station. Testimony in this case has also been completed and Jaya Prada’s statement is still pending. The court had also issued NBW on previous dates and the date of February 13 was also fixed. But the actress once again did not reach the court.
NBW issued for the seventh time
Now the court has again issued NBW against Jayaprada and has kept the next date as 27th February. This time, NBW has been issued by the court against the actress for the seventh time.
