JEE Main examinations were started from April 4 by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in Agra. The examination was held at three centers in Agra. Mathematics questions confused the candidates. Many questions seemed long and complicated. The examinees described Physics as of average level. Chemistry questions seemed easy.

The candidates who appeared for the exam from ION Digital Zone located at DEPG College, Sikandra said that the question paper of the second phase was somewhat easier than that of the first phase. This time too there was difficulty in solving mathematics questions. It took more time to solve them.

The examinees considered the Physics question paper to be of average level. It was neither very difficult nor very easy. According to the candidates, questions were asked from most of the chapters of CBSE class 11 and 12 syllabus. The examination was conducted at the centers located at ION Digital Zone, Kuberpur, Sikandra and RKGM College. After intensive searching, the candidates were allowed entry into the centre.

166 candidates remained absent

NTA city coordinator Krishnakant Dwivedi said that the examinations of both the shifts were conducted peacefully at all the three centres. A total of 1926 candidates were registered for the examination in both shifts on the first day at all three centres. 1760 appeared in the examination and 166 remained absent. He says that in the upcoming examinations, the candidates must come with the original identity card and admit card.
