After the completion of voting in the Jehanabad Lok Sabha seat under the Lok Sabha elections 2024, the discussion of victory and defeat has gained momentum. The counting of votes is to be held in the college located near the Jehanabad district headquarters on June 4. The counting of votes will make it clear who will win. However, in the meantime, the candidates of NDA and India Alliance are claiming their respective victories.
On one hand, JDU candidate from NDA Chandeshwar Prasad Chandravanshi says that people of every caste and religion have voted for me at all the polling booths of Jehanabad Lok Sabha constituency. I have got votes on the basis of development work done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. In such a situation, my victory is certain.
On the other hand, RJD candidate Surendra Prasad Yadav of India Alliance says that this time I got immense support from the people. I have also received very heavy votes from everywhere. Therefore my victory is certain. I have no fight with anyone. Half of the votes polled are in my favour and the remaining half are for the other candidates.
Along with this, Surendra Yadav took a dig at the 400 seats shown to NDA in the exit poll and said that the people of the entire area are hungry and thirsty. In such a situation, showing 405 in the exit poll is ridiculous. He clearly said that the administration is leaving no stone unturned to ensure the victory of the ruling party candidates. This is the reason that even after 20 hours of voting, I have not been given the list of vote polling percentage. Whereas for this I have also given a written application to many officials including the election officer. He said that this time no matter what happens, we are not going to give up. Whatever has to be done for this.
