Jharkhand News: The political storm created by the rebellion of former Chief Minister Champai Soren in Jharkhand is not taking the name of stopping. Before joining BJP, Champai Soren has accused the Jharkhand government of spying on him. Meanwhile, in a special conversation with ABP News, Champai Soren said that he was spied upon in Kolkata.

Champai Soren said, “I was spied upon in Kolkata and Delhi. The hotel staff even asked the two officers why they were clicking pictures of the people who were meeting Champai. The Delhi Police also took the Special Branch officers to Delhi for interrogation. I am not going to be scared of all this. These incidents have made me stronger. I am a grassroots leader. I have struggled. I don’t hide anything.”

‘Policemen were deployed for security’
Meanwhile, Jharkhand police termed Champai Soren’s spying allegations as false and said, “The two sub-inspectors of the Special Branch, who are said to have been marked for spying, were posted on the minister’s security duty.”

The police further said, “Traditionally, the team of Special Branch in Delhi and other states has been collecting information directly and indirectly on political, economic, social and other important issues related to Jharkhand. The team of Special Branch, Jharkhand, Ranchi also contributes in providing security to the dignitaries who are given security in various categories. Both the police sub-inspectors were identified due to misunderstanding during such duty. In this regard, all the concerned investigating agencies have been informed about the actual situation. After this, both the officers detained in Delhi were released.”

‘The JMM that we built is no more’
On the other hand, former Chief Minister Champai Soren said, “The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha which I had formed with Shibu Soren is no longer JMM. It has lost its direction. We had built the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha with a lot of hard work. I have separated but have not given a shock.”

Trust in PM Modi’s leadership- Champai Soren
He further said, “On July 3, I was humiliated and removed from the post of Chief Minister. On the same day, in the legislative party meeting, I had said that now a new chapter will begin for me. The issue of Bangladeshi intruders is the biggest issue in Jharkhand and we can fight this issue by staying in BJP. BJP is the biggest party. It was not possible to fight these issues by going to other parties, so I chose BJP. We have to develop the tribals, we have to save the tribal identity, that is possible by staying in BJP. We have faith in the leadership of PM Modi. I am joining BJP on August 30. Whatever responsibility I am given, I will fulfill it honestly. I will contest the assembly elections in Jharkhand.”
