Jigra Box Office Collection Day 1: Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina’s film ‘Jigra’ has been released in theatres. Fans were desperate to see Alia’s action avatar in this action-drama film. But after release the film does not seem to be doing anything special. ‘Jigra’ seems to be failing to impress the audience in theaters because the opening of the film is very slow.
According to Koimoi, ‘Jigra’ had earned Rs 56.1 lakh in advance booking. From this it was known that the opening of the film would be slow. Now Sacknilk has released the initial figures of the first day’s collection. According to this, the film has collected a total of Rs 1.44 crore at the domestic box office till now (4:30 pm).
Effect of clash with ‘Vicky Vidya ka wala video’!
‘Jigra’ faces ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ at the box office. Rajkummar Rao and Trupti Dimri starrer this film has earned Rs 1.76 crore so far on the first day. That means Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina’s film has suffered a clash with ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’.

The film ‘Jigra’ has been produced by Vasan Bala under the banner of Dharma Productions and Eternal Sunshine Productions. Alia Bhatt, Vedang Raina and Manoj Pahwa are seen playing important roles in the film.

On the work front, Alia Bhatt has the spy-thriller ‘Alpha’ in which she will be seen with Sharvari Wagh. Apart from this, she will be seen in ‘Love and War’ in which she will be with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. Vedang Raina has made his silver screen debut with ‘Jigra’. Before this, he was seen in the film ‘The Archies’ released on Netflix. He made his acting debut with this film.
