Jigra Box Office Collection Day 2: Alia Bhatt has once again returned to the screen with her strong acting. Her film ‘Jigra’ with Vedang Raina has hit the theaters on October 11. The film had a decent opening at the box office. On the second day, the collection of ‘Jigra’ has been seen increasing. Despite the clash with ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ and ‘Vettaiyan’, the film has crossed the Rs 10 crore mark at the domestic box office in two days.
According to Sacknilk, ‘Jigra’ opened its account at the domestic box office with a collection of Rs 4.55 crore on the first day. On the second day, the pace of the film increased a bit and it made a strong earning of Rs 6.50 crore at the box office. In such a situation, ‘Jigra’ in India has now done a total business of Rs 11.05 crore in two days.
‘Jigra’ clashed with two films
‘Jigra’ faced Rajkummar Rao and Trupti Dimri’s film ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ at the box office. The collection of ‘Jigra’ is currently less than that of Rajkumar Rao’s film. While ‘Jigra’ has earned Rs 11.05 crore in two days, the collection of ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ in two days is Rs 12 crore. Apart from this, South superstar Rajinikanth’s film ‘Vettaiyan’ is also in theaters from October 10. This film is making tremendous collections and on Saturday alone it did a business of Rs 26.1 crore.
‘Jigra’ accused of copying ‘Savi’
Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina are in lead roles in ‘Jigra’. The film has been directed by Vasan Bala. After its release, the film is being accused of copying Divya Khosla’s film ‘Savi’. Divya Khosla has indirectly targeted the makers of ‘Jigra’ by posting a story on Instagram.
