Jitin Prasad is the current minister in the Yogi government. Jitin Prasad received his early education from Doon Public School. He has done B.Com from Delhi University and MBA from International Management Institute, Delhi. Jitin Prasad, who became active in politics after the death of his father Jitendra Prasad, is considered close to the Gandhi family, especially Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi. Worked as Minister of State for Human Resource Development from October 2012 to May 2014. Jitin Prasad is counted among the leaders with a clean image.
