Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati: Shankaracharya of Jyotirmath Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati has set out on the Godhwaj Sthapan Yatra. He was in Lucknow on Monday (September 23). In response to a question from the media, he said, Yogi Adityanath has less love for Sanatan but more love for the chair. His Hindutva is weak. Although Yogi ji is very dear to us, but the truth has to be told and we are telling the truth.
He said, the offerings brought from outside to temples should be banned. The Mahant of a temple has taken such a decision, which is welcome, other temples should also do the same. He said, we have sought time from the President to the Prime Minister for the protection of cows but no one has given time. Therefore, we have set out on a journey, because, we have understood that the public is the real government. A true Hindu cannot tolerate cow slaughter.
‘You will get virtue by voting for the Gau Rakshak Party’
He said, we are going among the people, awakening their conscience. We are telling them that if you support a party that slaughters cows, you will commit the sin of cow slaughter. If you vote for the Gau Rakshak Party, you will get virtue. Shankaracharya was in Ayodhya on Sunday. However, during this time he Ram Mandir I did not have darshan of the Lord. In response to this question, Shankaracharya said, if the cow is given the status of Rashtramata today, then I will go to Ayodhya to have darshan of Shri Ram today.
‘Voters will have to take a resolution’
Shankaracharya’s ex-account posted, “Now the time has come for every Hindu to become a cow voter to save the life and prestige of the cow, because the parties and leaders on whom we relied for 78 years of independence have broken our trust. Now the voters will have to gear up and pledge to vote for only that party and candidate who has sworn to protect the life and prestige of the cow.
