On the night of 12th February, on the Kohinoor stage of Aligarh’s State Industrial and Agricultural Exhibition (Numaish), the voice of famous singer Kailash Kher cast a spell on the audience. The listeners took a dip in the Ganga of Kailash Kher’s tunes till late night. Kailash gave life to the exhibition of Aligarh which was still deserted. The audience danced to the melodious tunes of Kailash Band. This was the third time when Kailash Kher cast the magic of his singing on the people of Aligarh. He spread such magic of tunes that everyone became convinced of him.
Kailash Kher Night started with the lighting of the lamp. The magic of the songs worked so much that as soon as he reached the stage, the audience stood up from their seats to welcome him. The state of madness was such that the entire pandal was filled much before time. After Kailash came on stage, the first verse in Sanskrit was recited. After this he said, ‘What to do with wealth and fame…’, ”Does the sun ever emerge from amber… What kind of misfortune is this, every eye becomes moist…, Should I live in your name…,”’ On Teri Deewani… the audience got lost in Kailash’s voice.
He called some selected audience on the stage to dance on Kailasha Band. When there was some delay in coming, Kailash Kher quipped that we have everything, we just don’t have time, hurry up. After this Kailash forced the audience to dance. The entire pandal was seen dancing to the songs of Kailash. He did not give the arrow, the sword. Don’t know…, Allah’s vande…, bomb wave… Jai-Jaikaara…, Swami dena support us…, job spills… Chhaap tilak sab chhini re… ”” Mesmerized the audience by singing superhit songs like Main To Tere Pyar Mein Deewana Ho Gaya. After this, many Sufi songs were sung to the audience on their demand through songs like-”Raah Buharoon, Pag Pakharoon, Tam Niharoon Ji, Aao Ji…,”’Tere Bin Nayi Lagta Dil Mera Dolna… etc. .
Kailash Kher said that people of Aligarh, we will not take the lock from here, but we will definitely take the applause with us. Kailash enthralled the audience by singing the songs Heere Moti Main Na Chahoon, Main To Chahoon Sangam Tera…, Saiya…. He left the audience emotional by raising slogans of Har-Har Mahadev and Jai Siya Ram. The spectators started taking selfies by lighting the mobile phone lights. On behalf of the district administration, SSI Sanjeev Kumar, ADM City Amit Kumar Bhatt, ADM Administration Pankaj Kumar, SP City Mrigank Shekhar Pathak, SP Dehat Palash Bansal etc. honored Kailash Kher.
