CPI (ML) protested against Nitish government in Kaimur, Bihar. During this, the protesting leaders said that under this Bihar government, we are taking out a protest march in Bhabua city against the atrocities being committed by the bullies and the administration on the Mahadalits in Kaimur. After this, CPI (ML) leaders and workers burnt the effigy of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at Ekta Chowk in the city and raised slogans against the Bihar government and the district administration. This march was taken out from Bhabua block and taken across the city and ended at Ekta Chowk.

Comrade Provincial Secretary Ashok Baitha told that on 16 November 23, the paddy crop planted by Dalit-Mahadalit farmers of Kamhari and Karamhari villages of Nuav block was being harvested. Then the Mohania police station and the local bullies, without talking to them and giving caste-related insults, beat up the Dalit men and women fatally and injured them.

He told that after that all the injured got their treatment and applied at Bhabhua SC/ST police station. Whereas even after so many days, no action was taken by the SC/ST police station. We also met Kaimur SP and DIG regarding this matter. But no action was taken. If action had been taken, our comrade Santosh Musahar would not have been murdered. Due to the collusion of the police and the powerful, the killers are still absconding.

Ashok Baitha further said that along with this, Dalits are being tortured somewhere or the other every day. But this Bihar government is being ruled by police and goons. The oppressed Dalits are being crushed. Due to all these questions, today we have burnt the effigy of Bihar government i.e. Nitish Kumar. We want to say that if Bihar government does not take action against the atrocities on Dalits, then we will be forced to protest from the streets to the Parliament.
