Kalindi Express: Footage Of Suspects Seen At Nevada Toll Plaza Was Also Found In Chhibramau’s Sweet House – Amar Ujala Hindi News Live

The agencies have got a big clue in the ongoing investigation into the conspiracy to derail the Kalindi Express. The investigating agencies had started searching for two bike riders on the basis of the footage obtained from the Nevada toll plaza, by putting them in the list of suspects. Young men with similar appearance have been captured in the CCTV camera of a sweet shop in Chhibramau. The investigating officers had found explosives and petrol kept in the carry bag of this sweet shop from the crime scene.

Immediately after the bag was found, a team seized the DVR of the CCTV camera of that shop and started scrutinizing the footage. The investigation so far has revealed that two youths with similar appearance were seen near the crime scene on the day of the incident, so now the NIA and ATS have focused their attention on these two suspects. Sources say that since the city borders have been sealed, no vehicle is being allowed to go out of the district without intensive checking.

Also, the CCTV footage of Nevada toll and other toll plazas, railway stations and bus stands in the district and nearby areas has not shown any activity of a person with similar appearance to the two suspects. In such a situation, the investigating agencies believe that the conspirators are hiding in the city itself and are waiting for the investigation to cool down. So that they can leave the district later.

Since mixed population areas and small and low profile hotels around the Central Railway Station are considered suitable places to hide, the agencies have started scanning the CCTV footage of each hotel in such areas. Apart from this, CCTV footage of cameras installed at the intersections is also being scanned.

Local helpers are also being sought

Along with the search for the suspects, the agencies and police officers are also looking for their alleged local helpers. In this sequence, people who have been associated with banned organizations or have been in contact with them in any form are being identified and their activities are being investigated. Along with this, people who have been involved in any kind of incidents spreading hatred in the society in the past have also come under the radar of the agencies.

Footage of 500 cameras has been checked, more than 50 people have been questioned

Additional CP Harish Chander said that different teams engaged in finding clues of this incident have so far checked several hundred hours of footage of more than 500 CCTV cameras. Also, more than 50 people have been questioned. Based on the information received from them, the officers are taking the next steps by deciding the further direction of the investigation.

Every suspicious person within a radius of 10 km is under surveillance

Even though no person has been caught by the investigating agencies so far in the case of the conspiracy to turn Kalindi Express into a burning train, the teams are busy investigating the recent activities of every person living within a radius of 10 kilometers of the incident site, who has spoken or posted anti-government or anti-national things on social media or even socially.
