Lok Sabha Elections Newly elected BJP MP Kangana Ranaut recently slapped a CISF constable Kulwinder Kaur at Chandigarh airport. After this incident, the female constable has been suspended. On Friday, Mohali Police also registered an FIR against constable Kulwinder in the case of slapping Kangana Ranaut. In the FIR, the female constable has been accused of “voluntarily causing hurt” and “wrongful restraint”.
The constable who slapped the girl is getting people’s support
Amidst all this, Kulwinder, the woman jawan accused of slapping Kangana, is getting a lot of support from many people and organizations. Many have even talked about giving her financial and legal help if she is arrested or dismissed from service.
Farm activist Mohinder Kaur supported the constable
Among those who came out in support of the suspended constable is 82-year-old farm activist Mohinder Kaur. She had filed a defamation case against the actress over Kangana’s comment on the farm protest. The elderly activist said, “Kangana has no understanding of how to speak. Since she has been elected as an MP, she should remain humble. She tried to label Punjabis as extremists. She used derogatory words for us.”
Kangana, who is an MP from Himachal’s Mandi, had posted a photo of Mohinder as “Dadi of Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh” on Instagram and alleged that “such women” would come to the protest site for Rs 100. However, the actress later deleted the post. Based on Mohinder’s defamation suit, a Bathinda court had issued an arrest warrant against Kangana, which was stayed by a bench of the Punjab and Haryana HC.
Vishal Dadlani also supported the female constable
Famous Bollywood music composer and singer Vishal Dadlani also supported the female constable who slapped Kangana and wrote a post saying that he will give her a job. Vishal wrote in his post, “I never support violence, but I completely understand the need for anger of this CISF personnel. If any action is taken against her by CISF, I would like to say that if she wants to accept it, a job is waiting for her. Jai Hind. Jai Jawan. Jai Kisan.”
Case registered against constable Kulwinder Kaur
Let us tell you that CISF constable Kulwinder Kaur, who allegedly clashed and slapped actor-MP Kangana Ranaut at Chandigarh airport on Thursday, has been booked under bailable sections 323 and 341 of the IPC. Mohali police is scanning the footage of CCTV cameras at the terminal to confirm Ranaut’s allegations. According to the E Times report, Mohali SSP Sandeep Garg said, “Action has been taken as per the complaint lodged by CISF. Further action is in process.”
