Bhajan Singer Kanhaiya Mittal: Popular Bhajan singer Kanhaiya Mittal, who became famous with the song ‘Jo Ram Ko Laaye Hain, Hum Unko Laayenge’, has refused to join the Congress. On the discussions of joining the Congress, he said on Tuesday (September 10) that he wanted to join the Congress but he did not. He also clarified his stand regarding the MLA ticket from Haryana.
Kanhaiya Mittal said, “I wanted to join Congress but I did not go. Man is a puppet of his mind, I too wanted to join Congress but people did not want it. BJP leadership also talked to me, then I changed my mind.” When he was asked about the ticket, he said, “There was no issue about the ticket, if I wanted it, I would have joined BJP.”
Why did Kanhaiya Mittal want to join Congress?
Regarding his desire to join Congress, singer Mittal said, “With the love that I have received, I thought that I can connect Congress with Sanatan and also connect Congress with Lord Ram. This was my intention. I apologize to all those who have been hurt by my words.”
He further said, “I have nothing to do with the elections. I sing bhajans and that gives me peace. Lok Sabha Elections At that time also there was a discussion that I should contest the elections, but my mind is in bhajans and I am happy with that.
He also said this about Haryana elections
Kanhaiya Mittal appealed to the voters and said, “There are elections in Haryana, my demand from the Sanatanis is to make the one who talks about Sanatan win. The people of Haryana have to vote in such a way that Haryana becomes saffronised. The one who talks about Sanatan will rule the country.”
