Police have registered two FIRs after the incident that took place in Dharnidharpur Nagariya of Chhibramau, Kanpur. One FIR has been lodged by Chhibramau Kotwal and the other by Vishungarh police station incharge.

A report was lodged under FIR number 0156, sections 186, 307, 333, 353 and 7 of the Criminal Act on behalf of Chhibramau’s Kotwal Jitendra Pratap Singh in Vishungarh police station. In the FIR, the Kotwal has said that on December 25, he along with SI Pramod Tiwari, Rahul Sharma, Sandeep Singh Gautam, Rajkumar, Mahendra, Sudarshan, Gajendra, Arjun, Pankaj Kumar, Naresh Rawat, Naresh Kumar, Priya Pawar went to the village of Vishungarh police station area. Had gone to Dharnidharpur Nagariya village with the warrant issued by the court of Munua Yadav.

Vishungarh constables Sachin Rathi and Neeraj Kumar were already in the area. When they along with both the constables raided Munua’s house on Monday evening, his minor son and wife Shyama Devi started firing at the police party with a gun and a pistol from the house with the intention of killing him.

In which Sachin Rathi was shot in the right thigh. Vishungarh police station incharge Parul Chaudhary has filed a report under FIR number 0157, section 307 and 3/25 Arms Act. In this regard, Kotwal Jitendra Pratap Singh said that the section of murder of constable Sachin Rathi will be increased during investigation.
