Thieves broke the locks of a junk shop located in front of an inter college in Sikandarpur town of Kannauj district and stole the cash box and valuables. 20 days ago too, thieves had targeted this shop. Even before this, thefts have taken place from this shop many times.
Former councillor Prabhakar Rawat, a resident of Bhagan Singh Nagar of Sikandarpur town of Chhibramau Kotwali area, has a junk shop in front of the playground of Bharatiya Shiksha Sadan Inter College. On Wednesday night, thieves broke into the shop by breaking its locks and stole valuable items made of brass and iron, including a box. The former councillor said that there were about two thousand rupees in the box.
Which was found lying vacant in the fields about two kilometers away from the shop. The interesting thing is that the shop of the former councilor is located just 50 steps away from the town police station. 20 days ago also thieves had stolen cash and goods from the shop, while this is the fourth theft in the last two years.
