Angered by the sale of the farm in Tirwa in Kannauj district, the elder son killed his father. Police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem. The daughter-in-law filed a complaint against the brother-in-law to the police. On the basis of the complaint, the police have registered a report against the accused and started action. Ramshankar Kushwaha (65), resident of village Beharin, was a cook in a primary school. He has three sons and four daughters.
Everyone is married. The elder son Dharamveer lives in a separate house in the village itself. Ramshankar lived with the family of other sons Rajveer and Govind and worked as a cook in a primary school. Younger son Govind was already ill. On September 23, when Rajveerâs health deteriorated, he was undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Kanpur. Ramshankar had talked about selling one bigha of land for the treatment of his sick sons. There was an altercation with the elder son Dharamveer regarding this matter. Ramshankar had gone missing since Sunday evening.
