Troubled by her children being left on the platform, a woman hanged herself on the gate of a moving train. The GRP jawan standing nearby tried to handle him but while trying to get down, he slipped and his leg came between the train and the platform. The soldier showed promptness and saved him by pulling him. The video of the incident went viral on social media. According to the information, Shramshakti Express started running as scheduled from platform number one on Central on Friday.
Suddenly the woman hung herself on the gate of the third AC coach and started shouting loudly and calling out to the children. Meanwhile, GRP constable Anup Kumar started asking the woman to go inside the train. The woman hung from the gate of the coach and started falling down. The constable immediately caught him and pulled him outside. Other soldiers also came to help him. The train was stopped immediately. The inspector told that the woman’s children were left behind. Because of this she became distraught. She left for Delhi by Shramshakti Express.
