Police have arrested four people for trying to spoil the atmosphere by raising provocative slogans during the Muharram procession in Rawatpur. Police claim that the accused arrested during the procession had tried to spoil the atmosphere by raising controversial slogans. On Thursday, all four tried to flee the city but police arrested all four from near Pulses Research.

The arrested accused include Rawatpur residents Anas, Faheem, Ali and Munna. It has been learned that all four have made shocking revelations during interrogation. During interrogation, all four have told that they themselves became supporters of the Pakistani organization Tehreek-e-Labbaik after getting excited by watching the videos going viral on YouTube and social media. They also said that no one had asked them to raise slogans. ACP Kalyanpur Abhishek Kumar Pandey said that other accused are being identified through CCTV footage and viral videos. Soon the police will arrest the organizer and other accused as well and send them to jail.
