Kanpur News: The married lover committed suicide by hanging herself. She was hurt because her family was not ready to let her marry her lover. The woman had left her husband and was living in her mother’s house.

A married woman committed suicide by hanging herself on Tuesday night when her family was not ready for her marriage with her boyfriend. She was staying at her maternal house for a long time after a quarrel with her husband. The 35 year old woman, a resident of Maharajpur village was staying at her maternal house after leaving her husband. She fell in love with a neighbour youth. As they grew closer, she started pressurising the youth for marriage. However, the families of both the families were not ready.
Four days ago, a complaint was also made to the Kulgaon Police Station. After this, both the parties returned home after reaching an agreement. According to the villagers, on Monday morning, the woman reached the young man’s house and started insisting on living with him. Somehow the family members convinced her and took her home. Here, on Tuesday late evening, when the woman’s family members went to the field, she committed suicide by hanging herself. According to Maharajpur Police Station in-charge Sanjay Pandey, the villagers told that the woman had also tried to commit suicide by jumping into a well four months ago. She was also depressed.
