In the campaign of Shri Omar Vaishya Yuva Parivar and Amar Ujala, the residents of the city immersed the worshiped idols in the ground. The program took place at Kali Ghat with chanting of mantras, Maha Aarti and fireworks.

Kali Ghat of Parmat again witnessed change on Sunday. Here the devotees immersed more than one lakh idols of worshiped Gods and Goddesses with devotion and respect. Before this, the Acharyas performed the puja with chanting of mantras and Maha Aarti. People from different parts of the city participated in the idol immersion festival. During this time fireworks also took place. Public representatives, businessmen and social workers appreciated the campaign.
With the help of Shri Omar Vaishya Yuva Parivar and Amar Ujala, a campaign was being run for the last 20 days for the collection and respectful immersion of the worshiped idols. For this, more than 50 stalls were set up across the city to make people aware and collect the idols. More than one lakh idols were collected at these stalls till Sunday. Before his burial on Sunday, five Acharyas performed puja as per the rituals at Kali Ghat. Maha Aarti took place amidst fireworks and Prasad was offered to the Lord and distributed. After this, the idols were respectfully immersed in the pit dug with the help of the Municipal Corporation. MP Ramesh Awasthi, Gorakhpur Mayor Dr. Manglesh Srivastava, former Jhansi Mayor Ramtirth Singhal, Uttar Pradesh Trade Board President Mukund Mishra and dignitaries of the city, social workers and officials of Shri Omar Vaish Yuva Samiti were present in the event.
