In view of the exit poll results of the Lok Sabha elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party has ordered 2100 quintals of laddus from the BJP North and South district units. In a meeting of officials held at the party’s regional office on Saturday, it was decided that the BJP’s camp office will be set up at Amravati Palace near the counting venue, Naubasta Galla Mandi.

Since only pass holders will be allowed to go to the counting place, there will be seating arrangement for about 400 people in the camp office. A big screen will also be installed here to watch the election results live. According to District Media Incharge Manish Tripathi, 19 workers have been given responsibility for counting of votes in each assembly constituency, in which 14 workers will be present at the counting table, two workers, three workers for relieving. Apart from this, two workers will be responsible for counting the postal ballots. The workers will reach the camp office at six in the morning.

Regional president Prakash Pal, South-North district president Shivram Singh and Deepu Pandey, metropolitan Lok Sabha candidate Ramesh Awasthi, MLA Surendra Maithani, Lok Sabha in-charge Manikant Jain, Ravindra Patni, Kaushal Kishore Dixit, Ganesh Shukla were present at the meeting.
