Some time ago, ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ lead actor Diljit Dosanjh and actress Parineeti Chopra reached Kapil Sharma’s show for the promotion of the film. The film’s director Imtiaz Ali was also seen with him. During the show, Kapil told that AR Rahman had called him regarding the film Amar Singh Chamkila but he missed it. When Kapil came to know the reason for that call, he cried the whole night.
According to the report of Times of India, Kapil Sharma said, ‘One day I met Rahman sir and he told that he had called me for Chamkila and he wanted to cast me in that film. I thought he wanted me to sing. I was abroad at that time and when Rahman Sir’s call came, I missed it. Later when I came to know the reason, I kept crying that night.
