On Kargil Vijay Diwas, 371 people pledged to serve needy patients by donating blood in the blood donation camp organized in Varanasi and nearby districts in memory of the martyrs. In this, 53 units of blood were donated in Varanasi.

Out of 53 units in Varanasi, a total of 35 units of blood were donated in a camp organized by Amar Ujala Foundation, including 10 members under the leadership of Arun Tiwari, President of Rotary Club Kashi at BHU Hospital, 5 health workers including Rashmi Singh working in the Thalassemia Unit of BHU Hospital, and 8 members under the leadership of Kislay Manav at Manav Academy of Martial Arts.

Ashutosh Singh, Rajni Gupta and others played an important role in getting blood donated under the guidance of Dr. Sandeep and Dr. Dinesh from the blood bank at BHU hospital. 8 units of blood were also donated at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya District Hospital.

Along with 70 units of blood donated in Mau, 40 people donated blood in Azamgarh, 38 in Chandauli, 27 in Mirzapur, 35 in Sonbhadra, 24 in Ghazipur, 21 in Ballia, 27 in Bhadohi, 35 in Jaunpur.

Abhay donated blood for the 60th time at BHU Trauma Center

10 people also donated blood in BHU’s trauma center. Here Abhay Singh donated blood for the 60th time. During this, Trauma Center in-charge Professor Saurabh Singh encouraged Abhay by giving him a certificate. He said that there is no greater donation than blood donation. By doing this, the mind gets a lot of peace. During this, other people including blood bank doctor Manish Nigam were present.
