Cracks have appeared on three places on the wall of the office of Karnataka Guest House. The floor inside the room has also cracked. Due to this, the office has been shifted to another place. On Tuesday afternoon, suddenly three cracks of one feet, half feet and one and a half feet long started appearing on the wall.

Two days ago, small cracks had appeared in the tiles inside the room. Due to this, the administrative office has been shifted from room number 18 to room number 10 and 11. Assistant Manager Arun Kumar said that this building is no longer safe to live in. A new building should be constructed in its place.

On Tuesday, the guest house manager T. Krishnamurthy wrote a letter to the Municipal Commissioner complaining. He said that the new residential complex built in 2002 behind the old guest house building is also in danger. The office and rooms can collapse anytime. The ground near the new building has already caved in. There is a possibility of collapse of the building on the north side of the new building as well. He said that the construction company should jointly bear the cost of its construction. The Municipal Corporation should ensure this.
