Politics has started in Bihar after Jannayak Karpuri Thakur received Bharat Ratna. RJD and JDU leaders claim that there was a demand from their side for a long time to give Bharat Ratna to public leader Karpoori Thakur. Even a social media post from Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav was seen in which he had demanded Prime Minister Narendra Modi to give Bharat Ratna to Karpoori Thakur. There is a competition among the political parties of Bihar to assume monopoly over Karpuri’s legacy. BJP’s firebrand and Union Minister Giriraj Singh has fiercely attacked the Grand Alliance government on this matter.
Lalu Prasad and Nitish Kumar are the people who get votes by selling Karpuri ji.
While talking to media in Begusarai on Wednesday, he said that Nitish Kumar and Lalu Yadav kept playing in the lap of Congress but why couldn’t Jananayak Karpoori Thakur get Bharat Ratna? Congress did not give respect to anyone except the Gandhi family. Neither to Sardar Patel nor to Baba Saheb. On one hand, PM Narendra Modi does the work of Sanatan renaissance by participating in Pran Pratistha, while on the other hand, he gives respect to the underprivileged by giving Bharat Ratna to Karpoori ji. Karpuri was the voice of the deprived. Karpuri ji was a symbol of social harmony. The respect of Karpoori ji is the respect of the society, Dalits and backward people. Lalu Prasad and Nitish Kumar are the people who get votes by selling Karpoori ji.

Rejecting the demand of CM Nitish and Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav to give honor to Karpoori Thakur, Giriraj Singh said what demand did these people make for Karpoori ji. This honor happened only because of Narendra Modi’s compassion. Karpuri ji is not only honored with this honour. Rather, the deprived people of the entire country including Bihar were respected. In 1977, Karpuri ji and Kailashpati Mishra together made a formula for reservation. But, these formulas were canceled by Lalu Yadav. BJP has given respect to those whom Congress could not respect till now. Congress’s standards were different and Modi ji’s standards are different towards great men. There is an atmosphere of joy and happiness in entire Bihar today due to Karpoori ji receiving Bharat Ratna. On one hand, Giriraj Singh revived the world by sacrificing his life on 22nd January and now he has done the work of honoring Mata Sabri by giving Bharat Ratna to Karpoori ji. Lalu Yadav calls himself a pioneer, why could he not get it during the Congress rule.
