Recently in an interview, Erica talked openly about her struggle to move from TV to films. The actress told how she had to face many problems in this industry, due to which it became difficult for her to get work.
When Erica Fernandes was replaced
Recalling an incident about shooting for a film, Erica Fernandes said, ‘There was a time when I was in a South film, for which I shot for 2-3 days and after that, I came to know from the media that my Someone else has taken the place. Many times it has happened that you go for audition and even after everything is finalized, your place is taken by someone who is a well-known face or a star kid.
She further said, ‘So when I came back from films to TV, people asked me why are you going from films to TV. For me, it doesn’t matter because for me, my work is my work and I am proud of my work, no matter what platform it is and I came on TV.
‘I had to endure a lot’
Erica Fernandes further said, ‘I have had to endure a lot because of being thin and because of this I have had to lose many opportunities. This has cost me my self-respect. But then all this made me stronger. This helped me deal with things better.
