Yana Mir: Kashmiri journalist and activist Yana Mir has claimed that she faced insult during bag scan at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. At the same time, now Delhi Customs has said that Yana Mir felt unnecessarily insulted when asked to scan the ban at IGI Airport. Customs says bag scanning is done regularly for international passengers and no one is above the law.
Yana Mir recently came into limelight due to her speech given in the British Parliament in London. However, when she returned to India, she posted a video in which she said that her bag was checked by customs officials at the airport. He termed it unnecessary.

Delhi Customs released a video and expressed its views on Yana Mir’s claim of bag checking. Customs said, ‘Bag scanning of international passengers is done routinely. Other passengers placed their luggage inside the scanner without any hassle. But Yana Mir felt bad unnecessarily. During this, the customs employees behaved politely. Customs said in another post, ‘When Yana Mir was requested to get her bag scanned, she did not cooperate at all. As can be seen in the video, his luggage was finally picked up for scanning by the airline staff and customs officials.
