KBC 16: The 16th season of the quiz game show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ is also making a splash on TV. The latest episode of the show begins with Ganpati festival and host Amitabh Bachchan’s prayer. After this, Sumitra Dinesh Kapade manages to reach the hot seat in the Fastest Finger First round. Sumitra is from Gujarat and is a homemaker and full-time mother. During this, Big B reveals that he used to work in 3 shifts.

Big B gave this advice to contestant Sumitra’s husband
Sumitra answers the image based question of Rs 1000 correctly. After this, a film based question comes in front of her and Big B asks her if she goes to watch movies with her husband. To this Sumitra says, “He is a bit boring. I ask him to go out but he is not interested in what I like.” Hearing this, Big B tells the contestant Sumitra’s husband, “Bhai sahab, go watch a movie. The person who is talking to you also works in movies. I will also get inspiration. Go with your wife.”

Contestant Sumithra has a home loan
Contestant Sumitra’s husband is an autorickshaw driver. She says that they got a house on a loan of Rs 16 lakh, out of which Rs 13 lakh is the loan amount. She says, “I thought life would become easier after living in my own house but responsibilities have increased due to the loan. He keeps calling me his Lakshmi and through KBC I want to reduce his burden.”

During this, Sumitra’s husband told that he works for 13-14 hours. The contestant said that she had joined a textile industry where she used to earn Rs 4 for putting stones on sarees. She said, “After working for 8-9 hours, I used to earn Rs 50-60. I worked for 2-3 months and then left that job. After this, I thought of coming to KBC. After this, Sumitra answers the super question correctly and wins double the weapon power.

During this, Sumitra asks Big B, “Does your wife also complain about not spending enough time with the family like I do?” To this, Big B says, “Whenever someone asks me personal questions, it becomes difficult to answer and I have a perfect example of this. My father was a renowned poet and our financial condition was not that strong. So, to earn extra money, he used to go out late at night to perform in different kavi sammelans. He would get 400-500 rupees and that would help the family. When I used to say that he is not spending time with us, he used to reply, ‘Son, money is very difficult to get.'”

Amitabh Bachchan used to work in three shifts
He further said, ‘Many years passed and I came into the film industry. I used to work in three shifts – one film from 7 am to 2 pm, second film from 2 pm to 10 pm, third film shift from 10 pm to 6 am and then you would start work at 7 am. One day my father knocked on my door and said that I am not able to spend enough time and I replied, ‘Babuji, money is difficult to earn.’ After this Amitabh also said, “Patni ji does not speak much because I have told this story many times.”
