KBC 16: Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 is in the news. In the latest episode of this show hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, something happened which has never happened before. Actually, in the quiz show, tribal contestant Bunty Vadiva was successful in reaching the hot seat after battling many difficulties.
The latest episode began with the “Fastest Fingers First” segment in which Bunty won the title and secured his place on the hot seat. An overjoyed Bunty revealed that it has been his dream to come on KBC for a long time. He also shared a heart-wrenching story. Bunty said that his father is a farmer who earns around 11 thousand rupees every month. Despite their financial struggles, his parents always supported his dream of getting an education.
The parents took a loan for Bunty’s education
Bunty said his parents even took a loan for his tuition, wanting him to pursue a better path than farming. He came to Mumbai with just Rs 260 in his account and now, thanks to KBC, he has become a lakhpati. He plans to use his winnings to repay his father’s debt and make his village believe that dreams can come true, no matter how challenging the journey is.

Bunty’s story touched Big B’s heart
Amitabh Bachchan was very impressed after hearing Bunty’s story and he praised his father’s sacrifice. In the show, Amitabh asked Bunty the first question about animals, to which Bunty answered correctly and he won 1,000. Bunty answered all the questions in the first round very cleverly and he crossed the 10,000 rupees mark. His confidence increased as he faced the “Super Sawal”, which he answered correctly and he also got the “Dugna Astra” power. This gave him a chance to double his winnings and win 1,60,000 rupees. Later Big B asked the next question- Which Indian scientist wrote the book The Nervous Mechanism of Plangs? Satyendra Nath Bose, Jagadish Chandra Bose, P.C. Mahalanobis and Payof Birbal Sahni. Bunty chose option B and he won the prize money.
Will Bunty be able to become a millionaire with Rs 260?
Bunty’s winning streak did not stop here and he continued to play with confidence and finally he won Rs 25 lakh by answering all the questions correctly. As soon as the buzzer rang, giving a hint of the end of the episode, Amitabh Bachchan announced that Bunty will continue his game in the next episode. However, the promo shown next surprised the audience the most. Actually Bunty attempted the 15th question i.e. the question worth Rs 1 crore. While trying this, he said, ‘I am going to take the biggest risk of my life.’
