KBC 16:In the 16th season of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, contestants are winning lakhs of rupees every day. Every episode of the show is making a lot of noise. Recently, in the latest episode of ‘KBC 16’, retired teacher Paritosh Bhatt of Gujarat got a chance to sit on the hot seat in front of Big B. Paritosh is a resident of Valsad, Gujarat.
Retired teacher stuck on the question of Rs 12 lakhs
Amitabh Bachchan starts the game with a question of Rs 20,000 with Paritosh Bhatt. Contestants move forward in the show by answering the questions correctly. Answering the next few questions correctly, Paritosh faces the question of Rs 3,20,000. Which was – Who was re-elected as the President of the European Commission in 2024? To answer this question, Paritosh takes the help of his lifeline ‘Video Call a Friend’ but he does not get any help.
Then the teacher uses the third lifeline ‘Double Dip’. With this he chooses option A) Ursula von der Leyen and this is the correct answer. Paritosh further plays Super Sanduk in which he answers 5 questions correctly. He used his ‘Audience Poll’ lifeline.

Big B then asks Paritosh the next question for Rs 6,40,000. It was – What are the names of Taittireeya, Aitereya and Kaushitaki? Paritosh uses the ‘Audience Poll’ lifeline and goes with option B) Upanishad which is the correct answer. Mr Bachchan reads out the next question for Rs 12,50,000. Which was – Which bird was seen on the British colonial flag of Burma?’

The correct answer to this question is option C i.e. peacock, but Gujarat’s retired teacher Paritosh Bhatt gave the wrong answer. Due to which he directly takes home only Rs 3,20,000. After this, host Amitabh Bachchan plays another round of Fastest Finger First and in this, Kolkata’s Deepti Singh gets a chance to sit on the hot seat.
