Two people died due to drowning in a pond

Two youths died due to drowning in Bachhauta village of Morkahi police station area of Khagaria district. After that there was an uproar among the family members. The incident is said to have happened at 11 am on Saturday. It is being told that the deceased were brother-in-law and brother of his wife.

According to the information, they had gone to take bath in Bhirraahi pond located in Bachhauta village. During this, both of them slipped and went into deep water, due to which both of them died by drowning. The deceased have been identified as Prabhakar Kumar (21), resident of Bhadas village of Mufassil police station area and Suraj Kumar (13), resident of Bachhauta village.
According to the information, when both the youths went to take bath in the pond, a small child was also there. When both of them started drowning in the water, the child went to the village and informed their family members about it. Here, the bodies of both the deceased were taken out by divers. The police sent both the bodies to Sadar Hospital Khagaria for postmortem.
The Morkahi police station chief said that he had received information that two youths had died due to drowning. After this, both the bodies were taken out of the water after reaching the spot, which have been sent to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
