Stray dogs bitten and badly injured eight people on Tuesday in different areas of Gogri block of Khagaria district in Bihar. After this, all the injured were admitted to the referral hospital in Gogri for treatment. Seriously injured people have been referred to Bhagalpur for better treatment after first aid.
According to the information, Mohd. resident of Bhadalaya of Gogri block on Tuesday. Mansoor’s daughter Maryam (8) was badly bitten and injured by a stray dog at Bhadalaya on Jien Dam. After first aid from Referral Hospital Gogri, the doctors referred him to JLMNCH Bhagalpur for better treatment.
Earlier, Chandan Kumar in Babu Chakla village, Sudhanshu Kumar, Mahir Raj, Saurabh Kumar, Chhoti Kumari, Priyanka Paswan in Maheshkhunt, Satyam Kumar and Suman Devi of Harinmar were bitten and injured by stray dogs. At the same time, there is an atmosphere of panic among the common people due to the continuous biting of stray dogs. People are demanding the local administration to curb stray dogs.
The in-charge of the referral hospital told that the number of patients coming to the hospital has increased due to dog bites.
