Ingredients to make Khus Khus Panjiri
Poppy seeds – 1 cup
White Sesame – 1 cup
Wheat flour – 2 cups
Almonds – 1 cup
Cashew – 1 cup
Raisins – 1 cup
Cardamom powder – 1 tbsp
Desi ghee – 200 grams
Melon seeds – 1 cup
Jaggery – 1 cup

How to make Khuskhus Panjiri
To make poppy seeds, first finely chop cashews, almonds and raisins. Now put white sesame seeds in a pan and dry roast it till it turns golden brown. After this, take out the sesame seeds and keep them in a bowl. Now put desi ghee in the pan and heat it. When the ghee melts, add cashew nuts and almonds and fry them. Now put poppy seeds in some ghee and roast it and after it becomes light brown, take it out in a bowl.

Now put flour in the pan and fry it till it becomes golden brown. After this add roasted white sesame seeds, poppy seeds, melon seeds and fried dry fruits and fry them. After roasting all the ingredients for some time, add crushed jaggery to it and cook. The mixture has to be cooked until the jaggery melts and becomes homogeneous with the ingredients. Lastly, add cardamom powder to the panjiri and mix well. Tasty Khus Khus Panjiri of dry fruits is ready. It can be stored in an air type container.
