Fardeen Khan ComebackActor Fardeen Khan is returning to films after a long break. Recently he was seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s web series Hiramandi and now his film Khel Khel Mein is releasing on 15th August. This film stars stars like Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor.
Fardeen Khan last worked in the film Dulha Mil Gaya in 2010. After this, he went on a long break. Fardeen is very excited about his comeback. However, when Fardeen was on a break, he talked about how that time was for him.
In an interview to Pinkvilla, he had said, ‘I was completely isolated. I used to come to Mumbai every few months, but I had isolated myself. I used to get offers till 2014-2015. But after that people assumed that I had moved out of the country. I am still trying to change this perception. I live in India. This is my home.’
He further said, ‘I kept getting offers for a while. But then I gained a lot of weight and people felt that I was not interested at all. I regret taking a long break. I regret it a lot. I had not planned it, but I feel the gap could have been shorter. At least 6-7 years. After my father passed away, I wanted some time alone and I had personal reasons too.’
Fardeen had told that during his break he was in touch with Salman Khan. He said- When I made a comeback, it was scary. I was feeling like a newcomer. It feels good to know that people have not forgotten you. People still want to see your work. During this time I was in touch with Salman Khan. I also met Mukesh Chhabra. I was trying to tell people that I am back to work now.
