Kirron Kher Offended With Twerking: Apart from acting, Kiran Kher also has the talent of dancing. She has been seen judging many dance reality shows. She has also judged ‘India’s Got Talent’. In ‘India’s Got Talent’, Malaika Arora and Karan Johar were also seen as judges of the show along with her and that is when Kiran was seen getting angry at them.
Actually, in an episode of ‘India’s Got Talent’, a contestant started dancing in a red lehenga and in the middle she took off the lehenga and did twerking in shorts. Karan Johar and Malaika praised it a lot. But Kiran Kher did not like it at all. During this, actor Sushant Singh Rajput and actress Sara Ali Khan were also present.
‘There was a lot of shaking and stirring in this…’
Kiran Kher had said after seeing the contestant’s twerking- ‘I felt that there was more shaking and less grace in it. Sorry, many people come here and dance. They dance very beautifully. A person cannot control himself and stands on his feet and claps like Sushant did just now. He could not control his emotions.’
Contestant’s performance seemed objectionable
Kiran further said- ‘Let me tell you that I found it a bit objectionable. Because when you first came, then this new phenomenon that you people call twerking came out, before that tutting came out, then putting came out. So the whole combination of dance, you people break it down and move each part and give it a new name.’
Malaika and Karan were called ‘English children’
When you first came I was smiling. As soon as you opened it and appeared in your shorts, I knew this was where it had to start.
On this, Malaika Arora took the side of the contestant and said- but these are not shorts, these are denim shorts. Karan Johar said in English- can I interrupt you? On this, Kiran got angry and said- ‘You people are the children of the British, that is why you feel like this.’
