How to add Credit card in Gpay? The use of UPI is increasing rapidly. This is a safe way of making payment, which is accepted by vendors and big shopkeepers. People in India mostly use Google Pay, Phone Pay, Paytm etc. for UPI payment. Till now, customers were able to pay through debit card and bank account on Google Pay. Now the company has also started credit card service for some selected banks. That is, you can make UPI payment even by selecting the credit card.
Actually, some time ago NPCI has entered into a partnership with Google Pay, under which the company has also enabled Rupay Credit Card for UPI payment. At present, the facility of credit card payment on Google Pay has been started only for the customers of Axis Bank, Indian Bank, Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, HDFC Bank, Punjab National Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Union Bank. If your credit card is linked to these banks, then you will have to link it with Google Pay.

- First open the Google Pay app on your phone and go to the Settings menu.
- Now click on ‘setup payment method’ and click on add rupay credit card option
- Enter the last 6 digits of the credit card, expiry date and PIN
- Now to activate the card, click on the Rupay Credit Card option and select the bank and choose a unique UPI PIN, which you will have to enter every time you make a payment.
In this way your credit card setup will be completed and next time whenever you make UPI payment, you can also choose credit card in the payment option.
