Black Hole Incident: The British arrived in India in the 16th century. After which the British ruled India for almost 200 years. The real rule of the British in India started after the Battle of Plassey in 1757 in which Nawab of Bengal Siraj-ud-Daula had to face defeat.
In that war between Bengal and the British East India Company, Nawab Siraj-ud-Daula was defeated by deception and deceit. But the reason behind this war was the incident in the dungeon that happened a year ago. Whose connection is with space. Let us know what this incident was.
Black hole incident occurred in 1756
In the 17th century, the British built a fort named Fort William in Kolkata to increase their trade. In which he had made elaborate arrangements. When the then Nawab of Bengal Siraj-ud-Daula got the news of this. So he attacked Fort William with his strong army. The British could not stand before Siraj-ud-Daula. And surrendered.
After this the phenomenon of black hole occurs. Siraj-ud-Daula’s army had captured 146 British after the attack on Fort Philiam. The main one among them was an officer named Holwell. Who later told the world about the incident of that black hole. According to Holwell, on the night of 20 June 1756, Nawab of Bengal Siraj-ud-Daula had captured 146 British prisoners. Who were locked in a room 18 feet long and 14 feet 10 inches wide.
And three days later i.e. on 23 June 1756, when that room was opened. Then only 23 prisoners were able to survive. One of them was Holwell. This phenomenon was named black hole. Based on this incident, the British fought a war with the Nawab of Bengal the very next year and defeated him. After which the British rule became stronger in India and ruled for 200 years.
There is a black hole in space too
There is a place in space named Black Hole. It is said about a black hole that its gravitational force is so much that any thing going around it gets absorbed into it. Till now no one has been able to get exact information about how black holes are formed.
