Krishna Kumar Uniyal, the owner of Kumar Sweets Shop, told that Kulfi Faluda consists of Rabri, White and Yellow Faluda, which is made from starch. It is prepared by machine from white maize. On the other hand, Yellow Faluda is prepared with goat by adding turmeric, that’s why it is sweet. While white falooda is faded. He told that we first make rabdi with milk and then freeze it in the fridge. Also told that kulfi, white-yellow falooda, rabdi and goat are added to prepare kulfi falooda. It takes at least 20 men and 5 hours to make one kulfi falooda.
According to Krishan Kumar Uniyal, apart from Kulfi Faluda, his gourd laddoos, Ras Malai, Bal Mithai etc. are also liked by the customers. Not only Dehradun, but people from other states including Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh also come here to eat sweets.

Krishna Kumar Uniyal told that Kumar Sweet Shop was started in 1950 by Jethanand on a small scale. After him, his elder son Ramesh Kumar worked hard to take the taste of Kumar Sweets to the hearts of people. Now his brothers and sons are running this shop, but the reign of taste remains intact.
