Kuwait Fire tragedy Accident Update PM Modi Express Condolences Announces Ex-Gratia


PM Modi Meeting: 49 people have died in a massive fire in Kuwait. 30 of the people who died in this accident are Indians. After this incident, the Indian government immediately contacted the Kuwait government and asked for immediate treatment of the injured.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi PM Modi chaired a meeting to review the situation in the wake of the fire accident in Kuwait City in which people of Indian origin have been affected. PM expressed condolences on the loss of lives in the fire accident in Kuwait.

During this, Prime Minister Modi expressed condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured. At the same time, PM Modi said that an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh will be given to the families of each deceased from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund. Whereas, the injured will be given Rs 50,000.

After this incident in Kuwait, Minister of State for External Affairs, Kirti Vardhan Singh is leaving for Kuwait. He has been sent there after the news of many Indian workers being killed in the fire.
