A laborer died under suspicious circumstances on Monday morning in Nalanda, Bihar. The matter pertains to the cricket stadium under construction in Chhabilapur police station area. The deceased has been identified as Duryodhan Kumar Mandal (28), resident of Bhagi Dih Topar of Ahmedabad police station area of ​​Katihar district.

Regarding the incident, the deceased’s brother Mithun Kumar Mandal told that after working like every day, his brother went to sleep in the labor colony after having dinner on Sunday evening. In the morning suddenly he had a severe hiccup. Other people sleeping nearby woke up. After that, when an attempt was made to lift Duryodhana, he did not react in any way. After this he was taken to Rajgir Sub-Divisional Hospital and admitted. Where the doctors declared him dead. After confirmation of the death, colleagues reached the stadium campus with the body and started creating ruckus demanding compensation.

Duryodhan Mandal’s brother Mithun says that his brother has small children. The company should give some compensation so that his brother’s child can be raised. At the same time, after getting information about the incident, the police also reached the spot and started investigating the matter.

Chabilapur police station chief said that the relatives of the deceased are demanding compensation from the management. At present the matter is calm. Further action will be taken upon receipt of the application. Efforts are being made to take possession of the dead body.
