Laxmi Bahan Yojana: Many schemes are run by the central government for the citizens of the country. While the central government brings so many schemes for its citizens, the governments of all the states of India also bring various beneficial schemes for the citizens of their respective states. In Madhya Pradesh, financial benefits are given to the women of the state under the Ladli Behan Yojana.

So now on the lines of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra government has also started the Majhi Ladki Behan Yojana. Under which women will be given Rs 1500 on a monthly basis. But under this scheme, the state government has set some eligibility criteria. One can get the benefit of the scheme only after fulfilling those eligibility criteria. These women will not be able to take benefit under the scheme.

These women will not get benefit under the Majhi Ladki Behan Yojana

The Maharashtra government has recently announced a new scheme to provide financial benefits to the women of its state. The name of the scheme is Majhi Ladki Behan Yojana. This scheme is similar to the Ladli Behan Yojana of Madhya Pradesh. Under the scheme, the government will send Rs 1500 to the accounts of women every month. But the benefit of this scheme will not be available to those women whose family’s annual income is more than Rs 2.50 lakh. Along with this, those women will also not get the benefit of this scheme.

Those who have a tax paying person in their house. Women belonging to such families who have a government employee or a pensioner in their house will also not be given the benefit. Women coming from such families who have 5 acres of land will also not be given the benefit of the scheme. Women who have any four wheeler vehicle other than a tractor in their house will also not be able to take advantage of the scheme.

To avail the benefits of the Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, women can apply by visiting the official website of their district. Along with this, online application can also be made through Setu Suvidha Kendra. Women who do not have access to online facility can apply for this scheme by visiting Anganwadi Center. Documents like Aadhar card, income certificate, ration card, residence certificate, applicant’s photo, bank passbook and birth certificate as well as marriage certificate will be necessary for the scheme.
