On March 19, a 26-year-old girl committed suicide after being upset with a young man in Ishwar Nagar, Sikandra, Agra. Before the incident both were talking on video call. Suddenly there was a dispute between the two and the girl committed suicide by hanging herself. A case has been registered against the youth under the section of forcing him to commit suicide.

The girl was from Bulandshahr. She was living in a room on rent. Was preparing for PCS exam. Earlier also she had come to prepare for medical. Was also selected in BDS. She had gone to Ghaziabad to study. After MSc, I did LLB. Had come to Agra again. On March 19, the girl committed suicide by hanging herself.

On receiving information, the family came to Agra and the father lodged a complaint. On this, a case was registered against Arun, resident of Mau Road, Khandari. Arun is a grocery shopkeeper. Had called the landlord on the day of the incident. It was told that the girl was threatening to commit suicide. save him. The landlord had knocked the door of the girl’s room. But, no reply was received. Later, when the door was pushed open, she was already hanging.

The father has written in the complaint that the daughter had talked to the mother at night. Crying on the phone she told that Arun harasses her. His mobile number was told. On this basis, the police have registered a case under the section of abetment of suicide. The station in-charge says that there is a recording of Arun in the landlord’s phone. He is telling that during his conversation on video call, the girl was asking for hanging herself. The girl had thrown the phone on the ground, due to which it broke. Police are now getting the call details out. After collecting evidence, action will be taken against the accused.
